Wondering how to become a consignor at Found? The first thing you need to know is that consignment privileges are exclusively for clients of Audrey. All of the inventory you find and Found have come from the closet of someone who has hired Audrey for a Closet Cleanout or a Sort, Shop, and Style service.

These services are extremely helpful for anyone who is feeling overwhelmed by an overflowing closet, experiencing a body or lifestyle change, or simply feel that it is time for a refresh.

Service Options

From start to finish, this service covers everything. First, you receive a style discovery questionnaire to determine your style archetypes, color analysis to discover what season you are. Next, Audrey will come to your home and perform a closet edit to evaluate what you currently have, remove what no longer works for you, and guide you through reorganizing the keepers. Beyond the closet edit, this service includes personal shopping, a virtual look-book of your wardrobe with outfit ideas, and followup support to make sure you have ongoing success with your edited wardrobe.

This service is a stripped down version of the Sort, Shop, & Style. This would be an appropriate option for someone who is only interested in having Audrey come to their home for a closet edit only. This does NOT include style discovery, color analysis, personal shopping, a virtual lookbook, and ongoing support.

The consignment process begins once Audrey takes away the items from your wardrobe that no longer work for you. They are brought to found and examined by the staff at Found, who have professional industry expertise.

We take the time to sort the items to ensure that everything is in the best possible condition, either a contemporary style or a vintage style that is in demand. When considering items for consignment, we focus on style above all else. We are not particular about brands because we are committed to diverse and affordable items.

Once the consignment process has begun, you would have consignment privileges for the next 6 months; meaning, you can bring in any additional items you wish to consign at Found during this period of time without any additional services rendered. 

Consignment Fine Print

  • Upon receiving new inventory at Found, we examine each item thoroughly for quality and wear. For all items in new, like new, or gently used condition, we research the brand and style of each item and determine an appropriate price. 

  • In terms of pricing, part of our professional service is using industry expertise to make the consignment process as effortless as possible. Pricing is managed by us and we try to sell things for as much as possible to benefit everyone. We ask that you put your trust in us, as we are in the business of building wardrobes. We want these items to go to good homes. 

  • For all items sold within a 90-day period, you will receive a 30% payout. If we take items from you that are not appropriate for the current season, we will save the items to your account with a future receive date so that the 90-day term will not begin until it is appropriate for those items to be merchandised in the store. 

  • Most items sell within their first 30 days of being made available in the store. However, some items can take longer to find their new home. If an item does not sell within 90 days, it becomes property of the store. At that time we use our professional discretion to determine what happens next. 

  • Payouts for any items sold are issued the first week of the next month after the sale date. For example, if an item sold on the 2nd of April, you will receive a payout the first week of May. 

  • Payout methods can be electronic, like Venmo or Paypal. We can also apply consignment earnings as in-store credit with no expiration date. We have the ability to mail a check but a $2 fee will be applied. 

  • If you have a question about earnings or consignment at any point, please let us know! We are here to support you throughout the consignment process and want to make sure you are completely satisfied. 

  • For items that aren’t a good fit for the store, rest easy! Absolutely nothing goes in the trash whether we add it to the store or not. We are a zero-waste business. For items that have been very loved or are not the right style for the store, we donate to a community closet or Dress for Success if it is workwear appropriate.

You'll find us in Verona, PA on Jones Street which runs parallel to Allegheny River Blvd. Across the street, you'll see Off the Rails BBQ. If you're coming from the direction of the Highland Park Bridge, make a sharp left turn around the median before you reach the traffic light at Wildwood Avenue. If you're coming from the direction of Oakmont you'll go through the light at Wildwood Ave, and bear right on to Jones Street just past Jack Schempp's.
